The greatest thing that we can do for ourselves is to seek growth on a daily basis. Life has
become very busy… In InterPlay we take time to “notice” our experience, so that we can really
get the Whole Self engaged in the play. Mind-sharing is a gift to all who participate, especially
in the context of play, because our minds work differently when our bodies are activated and
our bodies are uniquely inspired when our minds are engaged. It’s a powerful idea with
infinite potential for application. Everyone, Everyday can and should PLAY!
“Embodied Cognition is an innate human capacity to receive and process information through all facets of mind and body. When we are teaching and learning we know that we can expand our ability to understand and develop wisdom when the whole body is involved. In InterPlay, to be Wholly Embodied is to be conscious of the interconnectedness of the body, mind, heart and spirit. No matter the age, activity, goal
or moment… mindfulness is a practice that is deeply transformational. Developing mindfulness through creative play is one of the most accessible methods for teaching that I have come across in all of my years of
learning and teaching. Children, Teens, Parents, Adults, Teachers, Social workers, Business, Political and Spiritual leaders will all benefit from taking a seriously playful approach to developing mindfulness in their methods of life and work. As a mother I have used Interplay with my son since my first class. As an Interplay
Leader I now see the transformative power of InterPlay working with all ability levels and especially in focused content areas.
